Stay Natural

  • Every age has its glow, getting older doesn't always mean losing attraction. There are lots of things that can be done to delay the aging appearance and that will make you live your age with enjoyment. The care you give your self will soon be reflected on your skin and spirit.
  • If you are looking young, that's a good thing but remember there are things that can be done to hold on to this youthful appearance the longer possible. Go through our pages and have an idea of what can be done now and at a later age.
  • After having babies, lots of women notice a dramatic change in their bodies, on their breast, abdomen etc...There are lots of procedures that can be done with less risk of complications if you don't carry risk factors and in the ideal body weight range. Breast reduction/augmentation/breast lift and abdominoplasty all these can help you to regain your old appearance and reinforce your self esteem.
  • Patients notice a big change in their bodies after losing weight in the form of fat loose and skin redundancy. Most of the time the best solution is skin excision and auto augmentation of the depressed areas in the form of brachioplasty / trunkoplasty / abdominoplasty, thigh lift and facial filling by fat or temporary fillers.

Be Careful!

Before taking an appointment with a plastic surgeon make sure that he/she is a BOARD CERTIFIED. There are lots of people who are practicing in our field and are famous but don't have a certificate in plastic surgery. Not knowing the different terminology puts you at risk of taking advantage of.

A plastic surgeon is a medical doctor who finished his training in plastic surgery and got the board certificate some countries don't set rules for practice so any doctor can perform plastic surgery procedures.

Patients should have clear ideas about the types of fillers, permanent fillers carry higher risks of complications than others and the results are permanent. Make sure to ask your doctor about the name and the nature of the filler used.

  • For patient coming for facial procedures, its advised not to apply make up or facial creams.

Breast Reduction

  • Its a procedure done to decrease the size of the large ptotic breast and at the same time tighten the skin.
  • A procedure like this has high satesfactory rate between patiens especially if they had symptoms as back/neck and shoulder pains ,dermatitis at the breast folds.
  • The scar usually around the areola and has a vertical component, depending on the patient a inverted t shape can be applied too.
  • Patients usually are discharged the same day or the ist post operative day.
  • This procedure can be asociated with temporary loss of nipplr sensation and very rarly permanent.
  • Milk breast feeding will not be enough to support a baby need and supplimentary bottle feeding might be required.
  • 24-hours after surgery, dressings are typically removed from the breasts with the exception of the steri-strip bandages, which are directly on the incision. The strips should be left alone and allowed to fall off on their own or will be removed by your surgeon in the office.
  • It is OK to get the areas wet two days after the surgery and to allow soap and water to gently run over the areas without scrubbing. The areas should be gently dried with a clean towel.
  • Bra use may be an option for comfort purposes. In using a bra, avoid underwire as this can irritate the new incisions. Patients are typically asked to avoid an underwire for the first 4-6 weeks after surgery.
  • Swelling and mild bruising are normal after surgery but will gradually subside over 10-14 days.
  • If you have a drainage tube in place, the nurse will instruct you on the appropriate care.
  • Monitor the breasts for spreading redness, increased swelling, excessive drainage or puss, fowl odor, increasing pain, increasing warmth, or fever.
  • You will be given a prescription for pain medications to treat unexpected discomfort.
  • Notify your doctor if pain medications are not adequately controlling your discomfort.
  • Motion will be painful at first. refrain from heavy lifting or pushing anything that goes over the head for the first 1-2 weeks after surgery.
  • Drink plenty of fluids and eat light.
  • Feeling tired with less stamina for your usual routine is normal for several weeks after surgery.
  • Limit your exercise to stretching, bending, and walking.
  • Most patients return to work 2-3 weeks after surgery.

  • Swelling and mild bruising of the breasts are normal after surgery and will gradually subside over the next several weeks.
  • 24-hours after surgery, you may remove dressings(except for the skin tapes which are directly over your incisions) and shower. The tapes have been applied with a skin adhesive, so you may wash over them without removing them. You may continue to cover the incisions and gauze dressings, as needed, for one week. If you have been extensively taped, leave the taping in place until instructed to remove it.
  • Please wear a soft bra; do not wear an underwire bra. If you were sent home with an elastic ace wrap around your breasts you may remove it for showering/bathing, but reapply it snugly afterwards.
  • If you are sent home with drains in place, empty the bulb and record the amount of drainage three times per day.
  • You're likely to feel tired and sore for a few days following your surgery. You may also experience a burning sensation in your nipples for about two weeks, but this will subside as bruising fades. Sharp, shooting pains are also a common occurrence following surgery. Most of your discomfort will be controlled by the medication prescribed for you.

  • An abdominal binder will be woren all times . The garments can and should be removed for bathing purposes.
  • It is often common to have bruising and swelling for 2-3 weeks.
  • The girdle or compression garment should not be applied too tightly as this can lead to healing difficulty.
  • If you feel discomfort with your binder or garment, or see blisters, you should stop use of the device immediately and call the office.
  • DO NOT USE HOT OR COLD WATER BOTTLES OR COMPRESSES.
  • You may shower 48 hours after the drains are removed with assistance. Remove the entire gauze dressing, but DO NOT REMOVE THE STERI-STRIP COVERINGS.

  • the abdomen will be numb fr several wks and this is normal
  • Avoid sleeping on your stomach until all soreness has subsided. You may find sleeping on 3 pillows and/or 2 pillows under knees may be comforting because bringing yourself up from a lying position to sitting causes a great deal of stress to the abdomen.
